TO AVOID COLON CANCER, DRINK TEA!



American researchers once again demonstrate the health benefits of consuming tea. After analyzing the results of a cohort study of nearly 75,000 Chinese women aged 40 to 70, 70,000 of whom were followed for 11 years, they found that those who drank tea regularly reduced their risk of digestive cancers (colon, stomach ...) of 14%. Of these, 88% were green tea lovers, 3.5% scented tea and 1.1% black tea. On average, they had consumed 100g of tea per month for 15 years. The higher the consumption, the more the anti-cancer effect was accentuated. A nuance to bring nevertheless to these promising results, they concern only women living in China. It would be necessary to see if the consumption of tea would be as beneficial for men and among other cultures.
